Career CounselingCounseling
Temple students come from a wide variety of backgrounds and each one presents a unique set of experiences and qualifications. Accordingly, the Career Planning team regularly schedule one-on-one counseling sessions with interested students to learn about their career goals, discuss ways to transfer skills and knowledge obtained through prior work experience into the practice of law, help them develop outstanding interviewing skills, resumes and cover letters, provide support and encouragement, and otherwise help them to chart a career course and obtain employment.
We strongly encourage every student to contact one of the career counselors directly and schedule an appointment. Students may also drop by the Office of Career Planning on the 2nd Floor of Barrack Hall to see if a counselor is available. If counselors are busy, they will schedule an appointment that fits the student's schedule.
