A career in public interest provides unique rewards and presents special challenges. Temple provides various resources to help students learn about the practice of public interest law, connect with academic year and summer opportunities, and navigate the path to becoming a public interest lawyer.
Individual counseling is available to all students interested in resume review, career guidance, information about public interest internships and opportunities, and any other public interest career related questions. Maureen Olives, Director of Public Interest Programs, is happy to set up a time to talk to you about your goals whether it is for a summer, a semester, or for a lifetime. Ms. Olives brings over 10 years of public interest legal experience to Temple, and serves as Treasurer of the Public Interest Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association. Contact her for an appointment by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by telephone at 215-204-3705.
