Law School Registrar's Office
The Law School Registrar’s Office maintains law student and alumni records and provides academic documentation needs, including processing loan deferments, registration verification, and degree and state bar form certifications. Request and information release forms are available outside of Suite 103, Barrack Hall and can be deposited in the locked box across from the door of Suite 103 at any time. Forms can also be provided electronically, if needed.
Requesting a Transcript
Temple University has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide transcript ordering to our students and alumni via the Web. The National Student Clearinghouse offers convenient online ordering services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as well as order tracking and notification. Please be aware the National Student Clearinghouse only handles your transcript order. The Clearinghouse does not have access to your academic history and does not print your transcript.
Official/Unofficial Transcripts
All Temple University transcripts are printed on a secure transcript form under the signature and seal of the University Registrar. These transcripts are considered official if in a sealed envelope and unofficial if not in a sealed envelope. Your transcript will be in a sealed envelope when delivered or picked up. You may open the envelope if you do not need the transcript to be official.
Delivery Options and Fees
If you select the pick-up option, you will pick up your transcript up from the Law School Registrar’s Office in Barrack 103, not from the University Registrar’s Office. If you have forms or other documentation which should accompany your transcript going to a third party, it is recommended that you select “pick up” as your transcript delivery option. Your transcript will then be delivered to the Law School Registrar’s Office along with your request and we can send along whatever other documentation or information you have requested.
Our alumni, students and former students are not charged for transcripts. You may still order up to five (5) transcripts per request, at no cost. If you will require other than the standard mailing procedure for receiving your transcripts, you should be prepared to cover that cost. Rush ordered transcripts will be delivered to the law school for pick up or special mailing.
Ordering Instructions
CURRENT STUDENTS may request their transcripts by logging into the TUportal (log in with your current AccessNet id and password), then go to the Student Services tab and select the Enrollment Verification and Transcripts link under the Records channel. Students authenticated to the National Student Clearinghouse website through TUportal will not be required to submit a signed consent form.
ALUMNI and former students may request their transcripts by logging into the National Student Clearinghouse website. A signed consent is required in order to process a transcript request. For your convenience, a consent form will be generated that you can return to the National Student Clearinghouse via fax, mail, or as a scanned email attachment.
