Temple Summer Professional Experience Curriculum (T-SPEC)

Jen Bretschneider

Welcome from Jen Bretschneider, Director of Experiential Education and Professor of Law

Welcome to the Temple Summer Professional Experience Curriculum, a ten week program designed to integrate real world experience with reflection, exploration and the early development of professional identity.  T-SPEC was created for rising 2L Day and 3L Evening students and is a 5 credit curriculum that combines in-depth participation in an approved externship Monday through Thursday (32 hours a week) with a weekly classroom component held on Friday (9AM – 12PM and 1PM – 2:30PM).  If you are interested in in thoughtfully examining the role of an attorney in society, engaging in real world situations and formulating a framework for your unique professional identity then this summer experience may be right for you.
