Admissions
Candidates for admission to the LL.M. in Trial Advocacy hold a J.D. or the equivalent from an ABA accredited law school and are admitted to practice. Admission is selective and class size is limited. Applications are accepted on a rolling admissions basis, beginning in the summer.
Applicants should submit the following:
- A completed LL.M. application form
- Two professional recommendations (see reference report forms on the LL.M. webpage)
- A law school transcript
- A $50 non-refundable application fee made out to Temple University
Admissions decisions are based on application materials, advocacy and trial experience, career objectives and the interview. A personal interview with the Director is an integral part of the admissions process. Applicants who live a considerable distance from campus may request a telephone interview. Application Materials
