Mary K. Hanna
Associate Clinical Professor

Professor Hanna has been part of the Temple Law School community since 1982. As General Counsel for the Temple Legal Aid Office, she has overall administrative responsibilities for the operation of that department; As Supervising Attorney for clinical law students, she has professional responsibility for client matters; as Clinical Associate Professor, she has teaching responsibility for classroom components for the Domestic Relations Mediation clinical and the Family Law Litigation clinical. She has also taught legal research and writing, the classroom component for other civil clinical programs (for both in-house and external placements).

Professor Hanna has been active with the Philadelphia Bar Association and has been appointed to ad hoc committees of the First Judicial District, Court of Common Pleas, focusing on counsel fees for court-appointed attorneys in dependency matters and the establishment of procedures for mediation for the resolution of child custody matters. Professor Hanna is a member of the Nicholas A. Cipriani Inn of Court, where she is a Master, and she has presented for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute's continuing legal education programs. Professor Hanna also conducts community outreach seminars and workshops in conjunction with neighborhood initiatives throughout Philadelphia.
