John Necci Director of Law Library and Associate Professor of Law
John Necci was appointed as Director of the Law Library in 2000. Prior to this appointment, Necci served as assistant director from 1991 to 2000.
Director Necci graduated from Temple Law in 1977 and from Drexel University’s master’s program in information studies in 1984. He served the law school as a reference librarian and then head of acquisitions until 1986, when he left to pursue a position as deputy director of the library of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Necci held that position for five years before returning in 1991 to become assistant director of the law library.
