Mo Zhang Professor of Law
Professor Zhang specializes in conflict of laws, contract law, Chinese law and comparative law. A former Fulbright scholar and faculty member of China University of Political Science & Law. Professor Zhang joined Temple in May 1998 after several years of legal practice in the United States. He served as the Director of the Graduate Program for Temple University Law School in China from 1998 to 2011 - the first in country for a law degree grating program ever approved in China. Professor Zhang is a member of the Maryland and New York Bars.
Professor Zhang has numerous publications in both American and Chinese law journals. His book Chinese Contract Law: Theory and Practice (Brill, 2006) is regarded as a primary book on Chinese contract law. As a specially invited professor, Professor Zhang also teaches Chines Contract Law in the Chinese Law LL.M program at Tsinghua University Law School.
Professor Zhang's current research interests include: Conflict of Laws, International Civil Litigation, Chinese Law, and Comparative Contract Law.
