Professor Ursula Kilkelly
Ursula Kilkelly (BA, LLM, PhD) is currently Senior Lecturer, Department of Law, University College Cork. She has lectured and published widely on children's rights, the European Convention on Human Rights and juvenile justice. At UCC, she teaches Juvenile Justice, International Trade Law, Moot Court and International Criminal Law.
Ursula is currently Chairperson of the Irish Penal Reform Trust (www.iprt.ie), a founder member of the Irish Youth Justice Alliance and a member of the Council of the Association for Criminal Justice Research and Development (formerly the Irish Association for the Study of Delinquency). She works closely with a range of governmental and non-governmental agencies in Ireland, Northern Ireland and Europe.
