To obtain a student visa for Japan, you must be sponsored. Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ) sponsors J.D. Semester-Abroad students seeking student visas to attend the spring law program. To obtain the visa, you must complete a two-step process: acquire (1) a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) from the Japanese immigration authorities in Tokyo; and (2) submit the Certificate and a student visa application to your local Japanese Consulate in the United States.
