Kathy Mandelbaum

Associate Professor of Law

Kathy Mandelbaum is an Associate Professor of Law at Temple University Beasley School of Law. Prior to joining the law school faculty, Professor Mandelbaum practiced in the Estates Department of the Philadelphia firm Schnader, Harrison, Segal & Lewis for 18 years. Until Summer 2019, she was Director of the Graduate Tax Program, where she supervised students in the LL.M. in Taxation, J.D./LL.M. in Taxation, Estate Planning Certificate, and Certificate in Employee Benefits programs at Temple.

Professor Mandelbaum has lectured frequently on estate planning and charitable giving topics for a variety of organizations including the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Alzheimer’s Association and the Health Ed Network. Active in civic organizations, Professor Mandelbaum has been a member of the Board of Directors of Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association and has authored numerous articles on planning topics for the Chapter’s publications. She has also served as a member of the Executive Board of the Harvard Radcliffe Club of Philadelphia and as a member of the Council for the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Tax and Probate Section.
