Graduate Tax Certificate Programs

Estate Planning Certificate Program

Many enter the LL.M. program, but there are others who see the benefits of additional training but do not wish to pursue the LL.M. degree at this time. Temple Law's Estate Planning Certificate Program is designed to meet this need. The Estate Planning Program exposes students to sophisticated federal estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax issues, as well as the federal income taxation of trusts and estates. The Program benefits practitioners who want to concentrate on tax issues involved in estate planning and estate administration. In addition, it provides valuable training for relatively inexperienced practitioners who want to acquire an advanced level of expertise in this area.

Admission to the Estate Planning Certificate Program is based on the same criteria applicable to LL.M. degree candidates. Each student must complete the Certificate requirements within two years of initial enrollment and achieve a final GPA of 2.5 from the nine credits listed below. Those who complete the Certificate may continue taking courses and earn the LL.M.
