Career Fairs

Temple holds an interview program in New York City every year featuring New York area legal employers. The event is held each August at the Bar Association of the City of New York, in Midtown Manhattan.

Temple has joined with Villanova, Rutgers, Widener Commonwealth, Widener Delaware, Penn State, Penn State Dickinson, the University of Pennsylvania, and Drexel to sponsor this program allowing employers to interview students from the nine schools in one place over the course of one day, usually in late September.

The PIPS Career Fair is a coalition effort among the area law schools and is held each year in late January. The primary purpose of the fair is to provide public interest and government employers the opportunity to meet with and interview law students interested in pursuing careers in those areas.

Coordinated by Equal Justice Works, a national organization dedicated to mobilizing the next generation of lawyers committed to equal access to justice, the conference and career fair provides an invaluable opportunity to interview with prospective employers for summer and post graduate jobs, attend sessions about job searching, post graduate fellowships, leadership, and post graduate debt relief, as well as meet other students and professionals interested in public interest and public service.
