Peter H. Huang
Harold E. Kohn Professor of Law

Peter H. Huang is the inaugural Harold E. Kohn Chair Professor of Law at Temple University's James Beasley Law School. He was a member of the School of Social Science at the Institute for Advanced Study during its psychology and economics theme academic year 2005-06. His research specializes in emotions & law; law, happiness & subjective well-being; behavioral law & economics; legal real options; and securities regulation. He previously taught at the University of Chicago Law School, the University of Minnesota Law School, the University of Pennsylvania Law School, the University of Southern California Law School, and the University of Virginia Law School. He has also taught in the economics departments of Southern Methodist University, Stanford University, the University of California, Berkeley, the University of California, Los Angeles, the University of Iowa, and Tulane University. He also served as a staff economist in the Division of Consumer Protection of the Federal Trade Commission.
