Join staff members from Temple Law School’s Center for Public Health Law Research and the College of Public Health as they introduce legal epidemiology and policy surveillance, and share how they are putting data and methods to work in research and practice to improve health.

Event Details

The Center for Public Health Law Research is a transdisciplinary research center that focuses on understanding the interaction between law and policy on health, well-being and equity. It has pioneered the field of legal epidemiology – the scientific study of law as a factor in the cause, distribution and prevention of disease and injury – and the field’s legal research process, called policy surveillance.
