Temple Law School fared well in the 2018 Law School Rankings report from US News, holding steady at #53 and maintaining its dominance in the region with respect to ranked specialty programs. Trial Advocacy retained its #2 rank, and International Law remained at #12. Legal Research and Writing was ranked #13 and the part time program continued at #6. The only other regional school with any ranked specialty programs was the University of Pennsylvania.

“I am very proud of the Temple Law faculty for their outstanding commitment to delivering the exceptional legal education promised to all students at Temple Law School,” remarked Interim Dean Gregory Mandel, who also expressed pleasure that “these and other rankings recognize our continued achievement.” Among the other rankings referred to by Dean Mandel are Temple’s recent rise to #35 on the National Law Journal’s list of Go-To Law Schools and A- ranking in National Jurist magazine’s list of Best Schools for Practical Training.

“While I’m extremely pleased with this recognition by US News,” Mandel said, “it bears noting that our most important work is measured best by our students’ and graduates’ success. On that score and many others, we should be proud of all that we are and all that we do.”
