Temple Law School is proud to congratulate 129 graduates on passing the July 2018 Pennsylvania bar exam, 124 of them on their first attempt. As in past years, the bar will admit more Temple graduates than those from any other law school.
“On behalf of the entire faculty, I extend my congratulations to our new Temple lawyers,” said Dean Gregory N. Mandel. “We are extremely proud of you, and know that you will go from here to do great things.”
In an email to the faculty announcing the results, Dean Mandel noted that at 82.67%, Temple’s pass rate for first time test-takers was consistent with past years and well above the state average of 79.0%. He noted as well that Temple faculty would study the data behind the results to “see how we can ensure that our graduates are as successful as possible in taking the bar.”
The new Temple lawyers will be welcomed to the bar at a swearing-in ceremony hosted by the Temple Law Alumni Association on November 13, 2018 at City Hall. As in past years, Temple faculty and alumni will be present to congratulate and offer support to the newest members of the bar.
