Temple hold an interview program in New York City every year featuring New York area legal employers. The event is held each September at the Bar Association of the City of New York, in Midtown Manhattan.
Temple has joined with Villanova, Rutgers, Widener, Penn State, the University of Pennsylvania, and Drexel to sponsor these two programs allowing employers to interview students from the seven schools in one place over the course of one day, usually in late September. The Philadelphia program is held at Temple University’s Center City Campus and the Washington, DC program is held at the St. Gregory Luxury Hotel & Suites in the downtown area.
The PIPS Career Fair is a coalition effort among the area law schools and is held each year in early February. The primary purpose of the fair is to provide public interest and government employers the opportunity to meet with and interview law students interested in pursuing careers in those areas.
Each October, over 1000 law students, employers, and law school professionals gather in the Washington, DC area for the largest public interest and public service job fair in the nation. Coordinated by Equal Justice Works, a national organization dedicated to mobilizing the next generation of lawyers committed to equal access to justice, the conference and career fair provides an invaluable opportunity to interview with prospective employers for summer and post graduate jobs, attend sessions about job searching, post graduate fellowships, leadership, and post graduate debt relief, as well as meet other students and professionals interested in public interest and public service.
